The answer to the previous question is the varied and complex resolution, but there are certain aspects common to virtually everyone that allows us to talk about rules to be happy, or happier. There are always exceptions, but having this basis is usually necessary to have an emotionally healthy and happy life.

Some common rules to live a happy life
If the problems we are going through are not too extreme or have anything to do with mental pathology, there are resources that you can go to without having to visit a psychologist to improve your level of well-being.

Below you will find a series of tips to give a small positive boost to your life if you are at a delicate emotional level.

1. If you have a sense of humor: use it for you and others
It is perhaps one of the fundamental pillars of a fully happy life. The endorphins that make us generate the fact of adopting a perspective of life-based on humor are extremely beneficial for the mood in general. So, if you have that, use it to make your life and others life happy.

2. Avoid constant approval if you need a happy life
Human beings are social animals. We always seek to please, content and satisfy others. For some people, this becomes an obsession based on seeking the approval of others to feel loved, maintain self-esteem. We must avoid this attitude or we can turn against us.

3. Don’t contain tears
Getting angry in the natural emotion of the human being. Curiously, society educates us from a very early stage not to show negative emotions, to repress our pain.

It is a big mistake. Without falling into despair, if we want to relieve ourselves through crying, it is good to resort to it, since it is easier to quickly overcome the bad moment. It helps to expel stress from our body and facilitates the adoption of a more optimistic vision in the face of the new reality.

4. Be brave and make a good life

8. Take responsibility
Only a bad carpenter blames his tools for bad work. Irresponsibility is a scourge: blaming external factors constantly immerses us in a state of dissatisfaction. It is essential to avoid the tendency to blame everything that escapes our control. It is one of the rules to be happy that have to do with the ability to take control.

9. If you need a break, take it
Sometimes we have the feeling of needing a break in our life, especially in the workplace. Do not contradict that feeling. If you need a break and disconnect from your usual routine, take a long vacation. It is the best way to reorient your life and help to make a good and happy life.

10. Personal and professional balance
Perhaps it is one of the great dilemmas of the entire list. The workplace is part of our lives, conditions, and this directly affects our happiness and personal development.

We must be sure of the balance that brings us between the personal and the professional. We should not think about work outside of his schedule, nor should we feel uncomfortable inside it. In that case, we must turn this situation around.
