Audio On How Consistency is the Key to Achieving Your Goals Contributed by Our Friends at Better Than Yesterday
In today's episode of 7 Good Minutes, we learn why Consistency is the Key to Achieving Your Goals.
Achieving your goals takes time, dedication, and a whole lot of hard work. But above all else, the key to success is consistency. You cannot give up when things get tough or when you don't see results immediately. You have to keep going even when you feel like you can't take it anymore.
Here's why consistency is the key to achieving your goals.
Consistency keeps you focused on your end goal.
When you are working toward a goal, it is easy to get sidetracked. Life happens and things come up that can make it seem impossible to stay on track. But if you are consistent in your efforts, it will be easier to stay focused on what you are trying to achieve.
When you stray from your path, it will be easier to find your way back because you will always know what your end goal is.
Consistency builds momentum.
The more consistent you are in working toward your goal, the more momentum you will build. And as we all know, momentum is a powerful thing. Once you get started, it will be easier to keep going and make progress.
Additionally, as you get closer to achieving your goal, the excitement of seeing results will motivate you, even more, to keep going until you reach your destination.
Consistency breeds success.
The old saying goes that “success breeds success.” This could not be more true when it comes to accomplishing goals. When you are consistent in your efforts and finally start seeing results, it will only inspire you to work even harder and be more successful in other areas of your life.
Your newfound sense of accomplishment will show you just how capable you are of achieving anything you set your mind to as long as you are willing to be consistent.
So there you have three reasons why consistency is key if you want to achieve your goals in life. Just remember that quitting is not an option if you want to be successful. It takes time, effort, and dedication to reach any goal worth achieving.
But if you stay focused and consistent in your efforts, eventually those goals will become a reality. What do YOU want to achieve? Start working toward it today!

Welcome to my channel. I’m someone who has always loved reading great books and exploring new ideas.
This is a place where I share what I’ve learned along the way. I draw from different fields, such as psychology, philosophy, biology, economy, and many others, but every single topic falls under the personal growth umbrella.
Using simple words and friendly images, I want to make my content easy to remember so that we can all benefit from it long term. My main goal is to help us become better than yesterday, one step at a time.
I would like to point out that I’m a one-man army, and I don’t create videos full-time. For those reasons, all content takes me a while to produce. New videos once in a blue moon (but worth the wait)! :)
